Stream the new Best Of Enemies single, ‘All Of My Mistakes’

By Ben Tipple

“We’re considering ‘All of my Mistakes’ to be our first commercial release,” says Croydon rockers Best of Enemies’ Sam Christmas, hinting at their new-found confidence in their sound. “With ‘Stay Young, Trust Me’ there was a bit of experimentation to see what kind of sound worked for us and we’ve expanded on that with this new single.”

“The song is simply about making mistakes and staying up until ridiculous hours in the morning dwelling on those thoughts,” Christmas continues. “It’s quite a contrast to the upbeat qualities of the instrumentation, which is becoming quite the trademark for us songwriting wise. We’re excited to see where this takes us and we hope everyone enjoys what four friends created in a dingy rehearsal room.”

‘All Of My Mistakes’ will be available from the 5th July, and marks a big step in the band’s relatively short career. Drawing influence from the expanding rock scene, the band have recently shared stages with the likes of Yearbook, Brightlight City and Flood Of Red.

Heralding Lower Than Atlantis as a big influence, comparisons to the likes of Deaf Havana and their ilk are also notable.

The four-piece have a number of live dates scheduled around the end of July and early August in celebration of the single release.
