Stream the new Radical Boy and pjaro split

By Ben Tipple

As with most cities, Sheffield celebrates its own vibrant DIY punk scene. Radical Boy and pjaro are both regulars on the local scene, which didn’t pass by Tye Die Tapes. Having released cassettes for the last 5 years, the split release by the two marks the first vinyl outing for Tye Die.

Following their true DIY ethic, both tracks by each band were recorded at Tye Die Tapes headquarters.

“The split came about after Radical Boy and Pjaro played their millionth show together – both bands are stalwarts of the Sheffield DIY scene and have graced our sweaty studio more than anyone,” the label explains. “We love them and it made perfect sense to put them on our first ever bit of Tye Die Vinyl. I think we need a name change.”

The split by indie duo Radical Boy and punk trio pjaro will be available from the 13th November 2015, available to pre-order now via BandCamp.
