Stream the split EP by The Caulfield Cult and Abolition A.D

This split release has been a long time coming. “We’ve been best friends with Abolition A.D. from the very beginning and have been talking about doing a split for ages,” says Nick Wong, of The Caulfield Cult. With both bands hailing from Singapore, their paths have crossed many times on the road. Yet in sound, they are slightly further apart.

The four track split EP opens with two heavy slabs of doom laden hardcore, far removed from the melody driven DIY punk of The Caulfield Cult. In it’s short running time, the record offers an insight into the Singaporean alternative music scene, both experts in their respective arts.

“We’re very excited to finally put this out,” Wong concludes.

The Caulfield Cult have just finished adding the final touches to their third LP, with a release date yet to be confirmed. Watch this space.
