Arms & the Man – Arms & the Man

By Tom Aylott

Hertfordshire’s ARMS & THE MAN‘s self titled debut EP recently streamed on Punktastic. If you didn’t listen to it, why not?! Kicking off with the fantastically fun ‘Guitarmaggeddon’ Arms & The Man show their sense of fun and musicianship with brilliant results. What follows are two more tracks that are brutal, funny and most importantly; good.

Clearly influenced by the likes of Blakfish, Every Time I Die and Your Demise, Arms & The Man are a great addition to the scene. With this being their debut, we can forgive the blatant influences on show, and it’s just a really good listen.

With the potential shown here, Arms & The Man could and should go on to better things. Give this 3 track EP a listen. It is well worth it.
