This is probably the dullest album I’ve listened to in a while. It’s just bland punkish indie rock with the occasional surf boogie breakdown thrown in (see International Rates), and no doubt it’s made with the best of intentions but it just comes across as a parody of Auxes influences rather than anything inspired. Oh, and Night Terrors is a terrible track. There is a thin line between being artfully obtuse and disappearing up your own arse. In short this is exactly 13 tracks too long. Half a star for trying though.
