If bands are going to be as unambitious as to just doing verse/chorus/verse/breakdown with the usual riffs and screaming vocals, at least do it well. Black Tie Brawl aren’t bad by any stretch of the imagination, but they are just tediously average. There are no dynamics, no range to the vocals and the melodic parts aren’t catchy enough to remember. It’s all very dull.
