Blood Redemption – S/T

By paul

I seem to have been inundated with Belgian hardcore records recently and I have to admit the bulk of them have been awful. Blood Redemption aren’t great by any stretch of the imagination – there’s an old-skool Avenged Sevenfold influence here – but compared to the other records I’ve had the misfortune to torture my ears with, this lot aren’t so bad. With aggresstive and abrasive vocals and some talented guitar riffs, there is a ‘heard-it-all-before’ feeling with this band, but that said, ‘Choices’ is a very good song indeed and probably picks this up from poor to average.
