Casino City are another quality Scottish band. Beautiful accents weave their way through consistently catchy guitars and complementary drumming. The sounds mix together with ease and the demo EP easily slips between tracks with creative synthesised links. Vocals are deep and powerful and the pace of the EP peaks then slows for ‘The Last Post’ which is packed full of raw emotion. It rises into the synthesised sounds of ‘Cobbles and Robbers’ which sounds miles apart from it’s predecessor and follows naturally. Influences for this band are clearly vast and at times I was reminded of the Foos, Incubus and Biffy as well as some more older punk sounds creeping through. Definitely a good band worth checking out.
