Socially aware and overtly political, London’s Djevara play a ballsy rock that I am sure fans of Skindred would enjoy. Their less fashionable Lostprophets influenced sound is made all the more distinguishable English vocals and a strong lyrical message, but while it’s punk in its ideals and the band’s DIY presence, sonically it’s not really something I feel too qualified to discuss. ‘Third World war’ isn’t the type of record I choose to listen to on my downtime and as a result it’s rather pointless me going on for too long.
