Forget The Script – Demo

By paul

When they sent me this demo to review the members of FTS wanted to stress this was just that – a rough demo. And you can tell as the tracks are very loosely recorded, sound very tinny and generally detract from the overall quality of the songs. Which is a shame as the band can clearly write a song. They sound a little like Valencia at times, that kind of pop rock sound with nice little riffs and melodic vocals. ‘100,000 miles’ has a nice little chorus while ‘Tell No One’ is a bit quicker and again showcases a band that clearly can write a tune. They’re rough around the edges and the lack of quality recording hinders rather than helps, but there’s enough here to recommend you check them out and with a bit of spit and polish this band could do decent things.
