Although slightly borrowed and generic, this EP shows plenty of promise. Frame Up Story sound like Allister but a hell of a lot rougher round the edges; the production on this six track EP leaves a bit to be desired but overall the band know how to use vocal melodies and they can write a catchy tune. And that’s half the battle for an unsigned band. Add the fact they’re from Greece – which to be fair you would never know from the lack of a vocal accent – and you’ve got a promising prospect. ‘Sick Of You’ and ‘Lonely’ are both catchy tunes, the former coming across a little like ‘My Friends Over You’ by NFG which is certainly a good thing. And while the world is over-saturated with pop-punk bands, Frame Up Story are poppy and catchy enough to warrant a good listen.
