There’s nothing remotely new about German punkers Frontkick; their brand of streetpunk has been influenced by the likes of Rancid and Bad Religion, maybe even Green Day from the Lookout years, yet they do it to a relatively enjoyable standard. The 14 songs on this release very rarely vary from what the band do best – catchy punk rock songs with strong riffs and decent enough vocals – so in that sense it does get a little dull the more you listen to it. But ‘Blue Tainted Blood’ and ‘Same Old Street’ are good enough tracks on their own, making this a decent listen.
