Call me xenophobic, but this badly recorded German drivel pulls out the genre rulebook and simply copies it, rule for rule. And badly at that. Singing in a mix of German and English was probably not going to win me over at any rate, but the truth is this 12-track album – said to be influenced by At the Drive In, refused and Snapcase – doesn’t come anywhere near their peers. It’s dreadful, tinny recording after dreadful tinny recording, following the tried and tested shout/scream/sing/breakdown pattern patented by a million bands before them. There’s nothing about this record which can save it from being the ultimate snoozefest. Crap.
