It’s very, very rare that BSM get it wrong but I just cannot get into this EP at all. It’s not inaccessible at all and I know a lot of people will love this band, I just find it all a bit obvious for the genre. I know that makes no sense at all as this EP is all off-kilter beats and chaotic guitars but it’s a bit predictable in its unpredictability. ‘Ride The Tide’ is the most fun song here, instrumentally it kind of reminds me of Jenniferever, more in tone than in sound. But on the whole ‘We Delete; Erase’ just doesn’t hit my spot. I feel bad writing this because I know a lot of people will love it, but this one just doesn’t do it for me.
