Rash Decision – Temporary Worker (Clause 4.1)

By paul

Do you like bands such as Municipal Waste? If you do then there’s a good chance you’re going to enjoy Rash Decision. Unfortunately this type of music just isn’t my thing; it’s not something I choose to listen to and so I always feel a little comfortable reviewing it. My starting point is always ‘I know I’m not going to like this…’ which can skew a review. That said, while I know I won’t repeatedly listen to this record, in places it’s really quite impressive. The guitar work in ‘Rabid Hackery’ is absolutely brilliant and the solo simply shreds. The vocals throughout are ferocious and energetic and there’s no let up throughout the eight songs on the album. I did find it started to blend in a bit on repeated listens, but if you take the songs on an individual basis there are some good efforts here. It’s just not really my thing. Sorry.
