A quick review because I don’t really think this falls within the boundaries of what we usually review. Sights and Sounds hail from Canada and sound a little like Oceansize crossed with Tool with some punkier elements underneath in all. Devin Townsend’s production brings some meaty tone to proceedings, while Comeback Kid make a guest appearance on ‘Sorrows II’. At times the pace of this record tends to trudge on and I’m almost willing the band to put their foot down, but that’s just personal musical preference rather than a legitimate and fair criticism. If you like you rock to be introspective, thoughtful and, well, rocking, then this band are for you.
