Song Of Return – Trajectory

By Tom Aylott

Post-rock. sometimes it’s hard to know what that term actually means and where it begins and ends… Anyway, that’s the label SONG OF RETURN have been stuck with and that may immediately get you to stop reading this review and ignore the band completely… which would be a shame as there’s something great here.

With a liberal peppering of Eno-esque guitar chords and electronics, the music is really uplifting and euphoric. If that’s your kind of thing then check this EP out, it’s all killer/no filler. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s next from these guys.
