The Franklin Cover Up – Commercial

By paul

‘Commercial’ is anything but; it’s a vicious and ambitious record that takes the brutality of a band like Botch and throws in the subtlties of a band like Chiodos and comes out with something altogether more raw. From the short, sharp and sweet ‘Popular’ to the slightly longer twisting and turning epic that is ‘The Poster Boy For American Standards’, this record is ambitious and excellent in it’s delivery. There’s an energy and passion not lost in the production and while it may be a little too sharp for some, there’s no doubt the band are destined for bigger and better things.
