On the back of a very impressive EP, The Johns have followed it up with ‘Preacher’, a Social Distortion-meets-The Rolling Stones style album falls of rock and roll guitar licks and impressive vocal stylings. ‘Preacher’ is 12 songs of rock and roll action and is hi-octane, highly impressive and full of singalong hooks. ‘Political’ pokes fun at Bill Clinton, ‘Creep Out’ is a ballsy rock anthem, while ‘High On You’ has one of the best shouty choruses I’ve heard in quite some time.
