There’s nothing wrong with The Tupolev Ghost‘s dischordant post rock sound, but it just doesn’t do much for me. At three songs long there’s not much to dislike about this EP, but at the same time tracks like ‘Autodidact’ just meander along with the fashionable lack of production making it sound like it was recorded in a garbage can. It doesn’t help that I don’t really think that much of music of this type anyway, but The Tupolev Ghost don’t inspire me to want to like them at all anyway. Better than average – but only just.
