Take three of these songs and listen to them on their own and they’re great. Listen to this 10-tracker in one siting and they just blend it one another and become really dull. For Unfinished Drawings, it’s a case of too much, too often. For a stripped down effort of male vocals and acoustic guitar at times the band sound fantastic (‘It’s Over’) but more often than not they just sound familiar and samey – by the end I’d more than had enough. That said, listen to these tracks on their own or in small doses and you’ll get more pleasure I’m sure.
