If you like Copeland or Anberlin, Florida’s Woodale will be right up your alley. Their softly-softly approach to radio-friendly mainstream emo may not be new, but they do it better than most and this well polished five-track EP serves as a pleasant little introduction. Opening track ‘Here’ and ‘Listen For Me’ are two great little pop songs which will have you singing along all summer. And while ‘Baby, I Can’t Wait’ ups the cheese factor somewhat, it’s indicative of a band which base their music on cute little summery hooks. Not the best around, but an enjoyable little EP nonetheless.
